JACOB LINDEMANN WON THE SECTION 8A DISCUS THROW, AND BEN OLSON WAS 2ND IN THE 100 METER DASH.
WARROAD’S ELIANA BLEESS WON THE 800 METER RUN; AND SHE, ABIGAIL BLEESS, OLIVIA GOULET AND FAITH LILLY COMBINED TO WIN THE 3200 METER RELAY.

WESTON BRING OF B-G-MR WON THE POLE VAULT AT SATURDAY’S SECTION MEET IN EAST GRAND FORKS.

 

THE B-G-MR SOFTBALL TEAM PLAYS WATERVILLE/ELYSIAN/MORRISTOWN THURSDAY IN THE FIRST ROUND OF THE STATE CLASS “A” TOURNAMENT; THE GATORS ARE THE NUMBER FIVE SEED.
NEW YORK MILLS IS THE TOP SEED.

IN CLASS “AA”, SECTION EIGHT CHAMP THIEF RIVER FALLS MEETS LeSEUER/HENDERSON THURSDAY; THE PROWLERS ARE SEEDED FOURTH.
THE TOP SEED IN CLASS “AA” IS NORWOOD/YOUNG AMERICA.

 

GREENBUSH RACE PARK WINNERS SATURDAY NIGHT INCLUDED SHAWN TEUNIS OF WEST ST PAUL, MANITOBA IN THE “A” MODIFIEDS; DUSTIN WAHL OF GREENBUSH WAS 3RD. PAUL VEERT OF WINNIPEG WON THE “B” MODIFIEDS. DEXTER DVERGSTEN AND ALEX TRUSCINSKI OF GREENBUSH WERE FIRST AND SECOND IN THE LIGHTNING SPRINTS. KELLY STEELE OF INTERNATIONAL FALLS WON THE MINI-MODS. DARRYL HEINTZ OF EAST ST PAUL, MANITOBA WAS FIRST IN THE PURE STOCKS, WITH JON DURAY OF KARLSTAD 3RD. RYAN JOHNSON OF KARLSTAD AND JEREMY GUST OF STRATHCONA WENT ONE-TWO IN THE STREET STOCKS.
