Nancy was born on July 17, 1947 in rural Roseau to Charlie and Martha (Paulson) Palm. She grew up in Ross and graduated from Roseau High School in 1965. She worked various jobs including being one of the first female welders at Polaris Industries in Roseau. She also babysat many nieces and nephews.

On August 7, 1976 Nancy married David Pellett and moved to Warroad, MN. They later made their home on Willow Creek in rural Roosevelt. She was employed by Christian Bros and later ran her own business, Pellett’s Cleaning Service. When her children were all in school she took a temporary job at Marvin Windows and Doors in the Technical Publication Department. She loved her job and coworkers and went on to work full time there for almost 26 years until her retirement in 2012.

Nancy enjoyed spending time with family and friends and her beloved fur baby, Finnegan. Favorite pass times of Nancy included reading, doing puzzles, mowing her six acre lawn, and watching the Minnesota Twins. A highlight for her was going to the Twins spring training in Florida in 2015. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother and loved anything to do with her grandchildren.

Nancy was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Warroad where she enjoyed being on various committees and teaching Sunday School over the years.
