TEMPERATURES THAT ARE A BIT MORE MILD RETURN FOR THE REMAINDER OF THIS WEEK, AS WE APPROACH THE OFFICIAL START OF WINTER ON DECEMBER 21. THE OLD FARMER’S ALMANAC IS CALLING THIS WINTER “A SEASON OF SHIVERS” AS MOST OF THE COUNTRY WILL SEE BELOW AVERAGE TEMPERATURES.

GOVERNOR WALZ ANNOUNCED THAT 25% OF CHILDREN AGED 5-11 IN MINNESOTA HAVE RECEIVED AT LEAST THEIR FIRST DOSE OF A COVID-19 VACCINE. THAT RANKS 6TH IN THE NATION.

A TRADITIONAL FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD TOMORROW FOR BEATRICE ROWENA HELSTAD OF SALOL, AT ROSE FREE LUTHERAN CHURCH (2 PM) WITH A VISITATION ONE HOUR PRIOR. INTERMENT WILL BE HELD AT NORLAND CEMETERY. BEATRICE WAS 91.

A PRAYER SERVICE FOR TERRY MAC HOWARD WILL BE HELD SUNDAY (4 PM) AT BETHEL LUTHERAN CHURCH IN GREENBUSH, AND A FUNERAL HELD MONDAY (1 PM) ALSO AT BETHEL. BURIAL WILL FOLLOW AT BETHEL LUTHERAN CEMETERY IN GREENUBSH.

THE OLD FASHIONED CHRISTMAS AT THE PIONEER FARM IN ROSEAU HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO THIS SUNDAY.
