NEARLY 450 HOMEBUYERS HAVE BENEFITED FROM THE COUNTY’S LOW INTEREST DOWN PAYMENT PROGRAM.

THE ROSEAU CITY COUNCIL, LAST NIGHT, HEARD FROM NORTHWEST REGIONAL LIBRARY DIRECTOR JIM TROJANOWSKI; WHO’S REQUESTING A THREE PERCENT FUNDING INCREASE FOR 2020 FROM THE CITY. TROJANOWSKI SAYS THE STATE OF MINNESOTA HAS CREATED A SHORTFALL.
THE REGIONAL LIBRARY DIDN’T SEEK ANY REVENUE INCREASE FOR THIS YEAR.

THE CITY COUNCIL ALSO SET IT’S PRELIMINARY 2020 LEVY AT THE SAME AMOUNT AS THE CURRENT YEAR; THE CITY HASN’T RAISED IT’S PROPERTY TAX LEVY FOR MORE THAN A DECADE.
