THE MINNESOTA STATE PATROL WAS AT THE SCENE OF A FATAL CRASH LATE LAST NIGHT AT THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAYS 2 AND 89, WEST OF BEMIDJI; WHERE A SUBARU FORESTER DRIVEN BY A 73 YEAR OLD FEMALE FROM BEMIDJI WAS TRAVELING THE WRONG WAY ON HIGHWAY TWO, AND STRUCK A CAR DRIVEN BY A 21 YEAR OLD FEMALE FROM FOSSTON HEAD-ON. AN 82 YEAR OLD MAN FROM BEMIDJI WAS A PASSENGER IN THE SUBARU.
THE CRASH HAPPENED JUST AFTER ELEVEN P.M. THE NAMES OF THE THREE WILL BE RELEASED LATER TODAY.
