TWO DRIVERS WERE TRANSPORTED TO LIFECARE MEDICAL CENTER IN ROSEAU WITH  NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURIES AFTER A REAR-END CRASH YESTERDAY AFTERNOON ON HIGHWAY ELEVEN,  JUST WEST OF WARROAD.SIXTY-ONE YEAR OLD PAUL ALLEN OF WARROAD HAD SLOWED TO TURN NORTH ON COUNTY ROAD 45,  WHEN HIS CAR WAS STRUCK FROM BEHIND BY A CAR DRIVEN BY NINETY-FIVE YEAR OLD FRANCIS GRAHN OF ROSEAU. THE CRASH HAPPENED JUST AFTER ONE P.M.

A PANCAKE BENEFIT FOR MIKE YAGER OF BADGER IS APRIL 7TH AT ST MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH IN BADGER. IT’S SPONSORED BY THE GREENBUSH/BADGER LIONS CLUB. PROCEEDS WILL HELP DEFRAY MEDICAL EXPENSES.

A FUNERAL SERVICE FOR ORVIS OLSON OF ROSEAU IS TOMORROW MORNING AT ELEVEN  AT HELGESON FUNERAL HOME IN ROSEAU. VISITATION IS AN HOUR PRIOR. ORVIS OLSON WAS  84.

A  ROSEAU DUCKS UNLIMITED BANQUET IS A WEEK FROM FRIDAY  (April 5)  AT GENE’S IN ROSEAU.

ROSEAU COUNTY’S  ‘TEAM EPIC’  HELD AN EVENT SATURDAY AT THE MALUNG COMMUNITY SCHOOL FOR KIDS. TEAM EPIC’S MISSION IS REDUCING SUBSTANCE ABUSE AMONG ROSEAU COUNTY STUDENTS. THE COALITION USES FEDERAL GRANT DOLLARS;  DANI WOLF SAYS THEY’RE WORKING ON A SECOND  FIVE-YEAR GRANT ….

KINDERGARTEN ROUNDUP IS TODAY AT THE ROSEAU SCHOOL.

ROSEAU’S FIRST ROBOTICS TEAM,  LED BY ANDY LUNDBOHM AND PAUL GRAFSTROM,  IS AT A COMPETITION AT THE UNIVERSITY of MINNESOTA THIS WEEK.
