THE ROSEAU SCHOOL BOARD HAS VOTED TO SELECT TOM JEROME AS THE DISTRICT’S NEW SUPERINTENDENT. JEROME CURRENTLY SERVES AS SUPERINTENDENT FOR THE MIDDLE RIVER/GREENBUSH AND BADGER DISTRICTS. A PENDING START DATE FOR TOM JEROME WILL BE JULY 1.

 

THE CITY OF ROSEAU IS HOSTING A SUMMER FESTIVAL JUNE 26TH AT THE ROSEAU CITY PARK.
PARKS AND REC DIRECTOR KATY SPODEN SAYS THEY’RE LOOKING FOR FOOD VENDORS, VOLUNTEERS AND PEOPLE WILLING TO PROVIDE AN ACTIVITY.

WILDLIFE MANAGERS IN NORTHWESTERN MINNESOTA HOSTED OPEN HOUSES IN MARCH ON DEER AND DEER MANAGEMENT. RANDY PRACHAR, FROM THE ROSEAU RIVER WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA, HAD A SMALL TURNOUT AT A MEETING AT THE ROSEAU COUNTY COURTHOUSE. OTHER MEETINGS WERE HELD IN WARROAD, BAUDETTE AND KARLSTAD.

 

ROSEAU SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT LARRY GUGGISBERG IS OFFERING TOURS OF THE HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING TOMORROW EVENING AND AGAIN NEXT TUESDAY (May 14) FOR PEOPLE CURIOUS ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE BUILDING. THE ROSEAU SCHOOL BOARD IS PROPOSING A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR CONSTRUCTION OR RENOVATION PROJECT FOR THE OLDEST PARTS OF THE HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING.
