THE ROSEAU SCHOOL BOARD, THIS WEEK, APPROVED A CALENDAR FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR.
THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL WILL BE SEPTEMBER 3RD, AND THE LAST DAY MAY 29TH.
GRADUATION NEXT YEAR WILL BE MAY 31ST; FALL HIGH SCHOOL PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES ARE IN OCTOBER, AND FALL ELEMENTARY PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES ARE IN NOVEMBER.

 

ROSEAU COUNTY FOUR-H SUMMER CAMP ADVENTURES START THE WEEK OF JUNE 3RD AT THE GREENBUSH COMMUNITY CENTER, FOR ELEMENTARY AGED KIDS.
LATER 4H SUMMER CAMP ADVENTURES ARE AT THE ROSEAU CITY PARK; THE WARROAD SHELTER; AND THE BADGER COMMUNITY CENTER (ALL IN THE MONTH OF JUNE).
REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MAY 31ST; THE COST IS 25 DOLLARS.

 

TODAY IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR ROSEAU SUMMER YOUTH BALL; FORMS CAN BE FOUND AT THE CITY OF ROSEAU WEBSITE ( www.city.roseau.mn.us ).
THE SEASON STARTS THURSDAY, JUNE 6TH.

 

TODAY IS ROSEAU KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION.
THE ROSEAU HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION CEREMONY IS SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

 

MEMORIAL SERVICES FOR FORMER ROSEAU RESIDENT DAVID GLENNEN OF GRAND FORKS ARE TOMORROW AFTERNOON AT ONE AT ROSE FREE LUTHERAN CHURCH, WEST OF ROSEAU.
BURIAL IS AT MOE/ROSE CEMETERY.
DAVID GLENNEN WAS 59.

 

ROSEAU PARKS AND RECREATION IS HOSTING A FISHING CAMP JUNE 4TH (9:30 A.M. TO NOON) AT THE ROSEAU CITY PARK FOR KIDS AGED SEVEN TO FOURTEEN. THE COST IS FIVE DOLLARS. BAUDETTE D.N.R. FISHERIES SPECIALIST MIKE WOLF IS THE PRESENTER.

A FLAG RAISING AND TRIBUTE PRECEDES THE PROGRAM AT VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK.

 

A SUMMER READING PROGRAM KICKOFF PARTY IS NEXT FRIDAY (May 31/ 2-4 PM) AT THE ROSEAU PUBLIC LIBRARY; FEATURING BOOKWINKLE, THE LIBRARY MOOSE.

 

THE MINNESOTA LEGISLATURE MEETS IN SPECIAL SESSION TODAY TO WRAP UP THE 2019 SESSION; AFTER AGREEMENT WAS REACHED YESTERDAY ON A HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES BUDGET BILL. THAT 48 BILLION DOLLAR SPENDING PACKAGE USES A HALF-BILLION DOLLARS OF THE STATE’S RESERVE FUNDS.
