HIGHWAY 175 NEAR HALLOCK REMAINS CLOSED INDEFINITELY DUE TO FLOODING. TRAFFIC CONTINUES TO DETOUT TO HIGHWAY 75, THEN NORTH ON 171 TO I-29. MNDOT CREW ARE CLOSELY MONITORING WATER LEVELS AND ANALYZING THE DAMAGE.

 

A REMINDER TO MOTORISTS TO WATCH FOR CREWS PERFORMING PRESCRIBED BURNS ALONG VARIOUS ROADWAYS. TODAY A CREW WILL BE ON HIGHWAY 75 NORTH OF EUCLID. AN ADDITIONAL SITE IS ON HIGHWAY 59 BETWEEN THIEF RIVER FALLS AND HALMA.

THE ROSEAU CITY COUNCIL, THIS WEEK, APPROVED A PILOT PLAN FOR UTILITY EMPLOYEE SUMMER HOURS FOR 2019. THOSE EMPLOYEES WILL WORK NINE-HOUR DAYS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, AND A FOUR HOUR DAY FRIDAYS – STARTING NEXT WEEK, AND GOING THROUGH THE END OF AUGUST.

 

FIRST HALF TAXES ON ALL REAL ESTATE AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IS DUE BY NEXT WEDNESDAY (May 15) AT THE ROSEAU COUNTY TREASURER’S OFFICE.
