A CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR RONALD  LUCEK  OF BAUDETTE IS TOMORROW AFTERNOON  (1-4 PM)  AT THE MOOSE LODGE IN BAUDETTE.BURIAL IS AT ELM PARK CEMETERY AT A LATER DATE. RONALD  LUCEK  WAS  66.

MEMORIAL SERVICES FOR WANDA UNDEBERG OF BADGER ARE TOMORROW AFTERNOON AT TWO  AT HELGESON FUNERAL HOME IN ROSEAU. VISITATION IS AN HOUR PRIOR.   BURIAL IS AT A  LATER DATE. WANDA  UNDEBERG WAS  74.

THE ROSEAU SCHOOL BOARD,  THIS WEEK,  APPROVED THE RESIGNATIONS OF HEAD FOOTBALL COACH JEREMY LINDEMANN AND HEAD WRESTLING COACH AARON ROSE. LINDEMANN IS RESIGNING DUE TO A WORK CONFLICT …ROSE HAD BEEN WITH THE RAMS’ WRESTLING PROGRAM FOR FOURTEEN YEARS.

HISTORIAN ARN KIND HAS A PRESENTATION ON MINNESOTA IN THE VIETNAM WAR,   APRIL  4TH  AT THE ROSEAU PUBLIC LIBRARY.

A MINNESOTA HISTORICAL SOCIETY TRAVELING EXHIBIT ON THE YEAR  1968  IS AT THE ROSEAU COUNTY MUSEUM.BILL CONVERY IS THE HEAD OF EXHIBITS AT THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY;  HE SAYS MINNESOTA PLAYED A MAJOR ROLE IN THE EVENTS OF  1968 …. THAT EXHIBIT IS AT THE ROSEAU MUSEUM INTO JUNE.

A PANCAKE BENEFIT FOR GERALD MANNING OF BADGER,  TO HELP WITH MEDICAL EXPENSES,  IS SUNDAY  (9:30-1)  AT THE BADGER COMMUNITY CENTER.

AN OPEN HOUSE AT THE NEW LIFECARE FITNESS CENTER IN ROSEAU IS TODAY       (7-2).

OPEN HOUSE MEETINGS ON DEER AND DEER MANAGEMENT ARE NEXT WEEK IN NORTHWESTERN MINNESOTA. SCOTT LAUDENSLAGER,  WITH THE MINNESOTA D.N.R.,  HOSTS ONE OF THOSE MEETINGS NEXT WEDNESDAY EVENING AT THE LAKE OF THE WOODS SCHOOL IN BAUDETTE;  HE SAYS OPINIONS ON DEER NUMBERS VARY …OPEN HOUSES ARE ALSO MONDAY EVENING AT THE ROSEAU COUNTY COURTHOUSE,  AND AT THE WARROAD FORESTRY OFFICE.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR BRUCE FOSS OF BADGER IS MONDAY MORNING AT ELEVEN AT THE BADGER CREEK FREE LUTHERAN CHURCH. VISITATION IS SUNDAY EVENING  (5-7 PM)  WITH A SEVEN O’CLOCK PRAYER SERVICE  AT HELGESON FUNERAL HOME IN ROSEAU;  AND AN HOUR PRIOR TO MONDAY’S SERVICE. BRUCE FOSS WAS  66.
