ROSEAU SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT TOM JEROME WILL HAVE INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS ON THE MAY  12TH  BOND REFERENDUM  THIS MORNING  (Nine and Ten)  AT THE ROSEAU SCHOOL THEATRE.

JEROME WILL HAVE INFORMATION ON DESIGN PLANS AND THE FINANCIAL IMPACT OF A YES VOTE.

 

WANNASKA SCHOOL RINK AND RED HAS A MID-WINTER EVENT FEBRUARY 22ND  INCLUDING TOURS OF THE ORIGINAL  1903 SCHOOLHOUSE;

AND HOCKEY GAMES MATCHING THE WANNASKA WOLVERINES AND ROSS RANGERS.

 

A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR BETTY DALLY OF BAUDETTE IS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AT TWO   AT FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH IN BAUDETTE.   VISITATION IS MONDAY EVENING  (5-7 PM)  AT HELGESON FUNERAL HOME IN BAUDETTE.

MARNIE WERNER,  WITH THE CENTER FOR RURAL POLICY AND DEVELOPMENT,  SAYS THE PROBLEM IS MOST ACUTE IN RURAL AREAS. SOME SAY MORE ACCESS TO MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT MIGHT REDUCE THE DEMAND FOR METH  (AND OTHER DRUGS).
