ROSEAU’S GIRLS TENNIS TEAM EDGED PARK RAPIDS  4-3 YESTERDAY FOR THE SECTION 8A CONSOLATION  CHAMPIONSHIP.  THE RAMS GOT STRAIGHT SETS WINS FROM SINGLES PLAYERS ELLA TRANGSRUD AND JULIA BRAATEN;  AND THE DOUBLES TEAMS OF KIERSTEN FLAIG AND LINDSAY McFARLANE,  AND MASYNN JANICKE AND SAVANNAH  BYFUGLIEN.   ALL SIX OF THOSE PLAYERS ARE SENIORS. THIEF RIVER FALLS BEAT PERHAM  6-1 FOR THE SECTION CHAMPIONSHIP.

HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL –    CHLOE KUZNIA’S  31 ASSISTS HELPED GRYGLA/GOODRIDGE/GATZKE  BEAT WARROAD  3-0.    VIVIAN COAN HAD 14 KILLS FOR THE CHARGERS;   SAIGE LUND HAD 7 KILLS FOR THE WARRIORS. VOLLEYBALL MATCHES BETWEEN LAKE OF THE WOODS AND NORTHOME/KELLIHER;  AND KITTSON CENTRAL AND EAST GRAND FORKS WERE CANCELLED. PERHAM WON THE SECTION 8A BOYS CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP;   ROSEAU WAS  7TH AND WARROAD  8TH.
