THE NEARLY FLAWLESS START TO THE SEASON FOR KIRK COUSINS CONTINUED YESTERDAY, LEADING THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS TO THEIR FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON, 30-17 OVER SEATTLE. COUSINS THREW FOR OVER 300 YARDS AND 3 TOUCHDOWNS, WHILE ALEXANDER MATTISON FILLED IN FOR AN INJURED DALVIN COOK TO RUSH FOR 112 YARDS.

AARON RODGERS ORCHESTRATED A DRIVE IN THE FINAL 36 SECONDS TO GET THE PACKERS INTO FIELD GOAL RANGE, AND MASON CROSBY CONVERTED TO GIVE GREEN BAY A 30-28 WIN OVER THE SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS.

DETROIT LOST ON A LAST SECOND RECORD-BREAKING 66-YARD FIELD GOAL BY BALTIMORE’S JUSTIN TUCKER. THE RAVENS EARNED THE 19-17 WIN.

CLEVELAND HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE CHICAGO BEARS IN A 26-6 WIN.

 

MINNESOTA TWINS CLOSED OUT THEIR HOME SCHEDULE YESTERDAY, LOSING THEIR TARGET FIELD FINALE 5-2 TO TORONTO.

#12 NOTRE DAME PULLED AWAY LATE FOR A 41-13 WIN OVER #18 WISCONSIN.

THE BIG 10 HAD A FAIRLY GOOD WEEKEND WITH MICHIGAN, MICHIGAN STATE, PENN STATE, OHIO STATE AND IOWA ALL WINNING.

MINNESOTA LOST IT’S HOMECOMING GAME TO BOWLING GREEN.
