THE RAMS GIRLS HOCKEY SEASON ENDED ON SATURDAY IN THE SECTION CHAMPIONSHIP, IN A 2-1 LOSS TO ALEXANDRIA.

THE CARDINALS ARE ONE OF THE THREE UN-SEEDED TEAMS AT THE CLASS AA STATE TOURNAMENT. THEY DRAW MINNETONKA IN THE OPENING ROUND.

IN THE CLASS A STATE TOURNAMENT, WARROAD WAS SEEDED SECOND, AND WILL SEE ROCHESTER LOURDES IN THE OPENING ROUND ON FRIDAY.

 

IN 8A BOYS HOCKEY, WARROAD BEAT BAGLEY-FOSSTON 13-0 AND WILL NOW MEET RED LAKE FALLS IN THE SEMIS. RED LAKE FALLS ENDED KITTSON CENTRAL’S SEASON 6-2.

EAST GRAND FORKS AND THIEF RIVER FALLS WILL PLAY IN THE OTHER SEMIFINAL.

 

8A BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS CONTINUE THIS WEEK.

IN BOYS… BGMR WILL SEE FERTILE-BELTRAMI IN THE NEXT ROUND. THE GATORS STAYED ALIVE WITH A 53-52 WIN OVER STEPHEN-ARGYLE ON SATURDAY.
