IN A PRESS RELEASE, BOROWICZ SAID SHE MADE THE DECISION BASED ON THE COVID-RELATED UNCERTAINTY OF THE MINNESOTA HIGH SCHOOL SEASON. THE 3-TIME ALL-STATER WILL WEAR NUMBER 23 FOR MINNESOTA, WHICH BEAT WISCONSIN 88-83 IN OVERTIME YESTERDAY.
BOROWICZ WOULD HAVE BEEN A SENIOR FOR THE BASKETBALL RAMS.

 

FORMER ROSEAU RAMS DEFENDER ELLICE MURPHY SCORED HER FIRST COLLEGIATE GOAL IN VERMONT’S NEW YEAR’S DAY 4-1 WIN OVER HOLY CROSS. MURPHY IS A SOPHOMORE AT VERMONT.

 

IN MEN’S COLLEGE HOCKEY, SAMPO RANTA SCORED TWICE AND TOP-RANKED MINNESOTA REMAINED UNBEATEN WITH A 4-1 WIN OVER ARIZONA STATE.
ZACH DRISCOLL MADE 28 SAVES FOR BEMIDJI STATE AS THE BEAVERS AND LAKE SUPERIOR STATE PLAYED A 2-2 OVERTIME TIE.
