ST. CLOUD STATE WILL PLAY FOR THEIR FIRST EVER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, AND WILL MATCHUP WITH U-MASS. THE HUSKIES GOT THE GAME WINNER WITH 53 SECONDS TO PLAY IN REGULATION AS THEY BEAT MINNESOTA STATE – MANKATO 5-4. LAST NIGHT, UMASS CAME FROM A GOAL BEHIND IN THE THIRD AND THEN WON IN THE FIRST OVERTIME PERIOD, 3-2 OVER DULUTH. THE BULLDOGS WERE LOOKING FOR A THREE-PEAT AS NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.

 

ANY NUMBER OF HIGH SCHOOL SPORTING EVENTS WERE RAINED OUT YESTERDAY, INCLUDING RAMS BASEBALL HOME OPENER AND WARROAD’S BASEBALL HOME OPENER.
