Raymond Joseph Gefroh, 82, Warroad MN died peacefully December 17, 2021 at LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau. MN. Raymond Joseph Gefroh was born on January 26, 1939 to John and Ida (Danielson) Gefroh. He was raised in Grand Forks.

On August 26, 1961, Ray was united in marriage to Mary Johnson. Together they had two daughters. Ray enjoyed bowling in his younger days and playing cards with his family and friends. He also loved fishing on Lake of the Woods.

Ray worked for Coca Cola Bottling in Grand Forks for 29 years. Ray and his wife Mary moved to Warroad, MN in 1993. He worked for Marvin Windows in Warroad for 8 years until his retirement in 2001. Ray and Mary spent many winters in Arizona where they met up with friends from all over. Ray also enjoyed going to the casino.

Ray is survived by: his daughters, Brenda (Dennis) Johnson and Cyndi (Troy) Pearson; 4 Grandchildren, Kristy (Kenny) Kjos, Brandon (Nicole) Pearson, Elizabeth (David) Chapman and Mitchell Johnson; Great-grandson, Carter Kjos; Great-granddaughters, Hannah Kjos, Payton Pearson and Harlee Pearson; Sister, Dianne Anderson and several Nieces and Nephews.

Ray was preceded in death by his infant son, Terry Rae; Parents, John and Ida Gefroh; Wife, Mary Gefroh; Brother, Jerry Gefroh; Brother-in-law, Jack Anderson; Brother-in-law, Wayne Johnson; Brother-in-law Carl Anderson; Sister-in-law, Mildred Johnson and Nephew, Kevin Anderson.

A Memorial Service for Ray will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on January 3rd, 2022 at 10:00am with a visitation an hour prior. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
