FUNERAL SERVICES ARE PENDING FOR BERNIE LIEDER OF CROOKSTON,  WHO DIED SUNDAY AT AGE   97.BERNIE  LIEDER SERVED 25 YEARS IN THE MINNESOTA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES,  FROM DISTRICT  1B.

THE ROSEAU COUNTY BOARD,  YESTERDAY,  APPROVED ADVERTISING TO HIRE A ROSTER OF PART-TIME JAILER/ DISPATCHERS. THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS SAYS SHERIFF STEVE GUST MUST INCREASE STAFFING AT THE COUNTY JAIL.

ROSEAU COUNTY TREASURER DIANE GREGERSON SAYS FIRST HALF TAXES ON MOBILE HOMES ARE DUE BY SEPTEMBER  3RD.
