NORTH DAKOTA IS NOW REPORTING IT’S FIRST CASES OF THE OMICRON VARIANT. IN TOTAL THERE WERE FOUR CASES, THREE IN FULLY VACCINATED PEOPLE THAT HAD NOT RECEIVED A BOOSTER, WHILE THE FOURTH WAS NOT FULLY VACCINATED. AT THE TIME, NONE OF THE FOUR ARE REQUIRING HOSPITALIZATION.

YESTERDAY, OFFICIALS RELEASED SOME INFORMATION ON TEH DEATH OF 7 PEOPLE IN A MOORHEAD HOME OVER THE WEEKEND, SAYING THAT THE VICTIMS WERE FOUR ADULTS AND THREE CHILDREN. THE GRAND FORKS HERALD SPOKE WITH RED LAKE COUNTY SHERIFF MITCH BERNSTEIN WHO SAID HIS CHRISTMAS WISH WILL BE FOR A QUIETER 2022. A FALL POPULATION SURVEY ON LAKE OF THE WOODS SHOWED A SMALL DIP IN WALLEYE POPULATION, BUT PHIL TALMAGE WITH DNR FISHERIES SAID THE NUMBERS ARE STILL WITHIN MANAGEMENT GOALS.
