FORMER ROSEAU RESIDENT, 21-YEAR OLD TESSA HOLT DIED AT A FARGO HOSPITAL AFTER A MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT ON UNIVERSITY AVENUE SUNDAY EVENING. SHE WAS THROWN FROM THE BIKE AFTER IT LOST CONTROL, AND THEN STRUCK BY A SECOND MOTORCYCLE. THE CRASH REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION. IT’S BEEN A ROUGH START TO THE SUMMER FOR CYCLES IN NORTH DAKOTA, WHERE THEY HAVE ALREADY SEEN MORE MOTORCYCLE CRASHES IN 2022, THAN THEY SAW IN ALL OF 2021.

A FUNERAL SERVICE FOR LAMBERT E. SCHIRES WILL BE HELD TOMORROW (10 AM) AT HELGESON FUNERAL HOME IN ROSEAU, WITH VISITATION AND HOUR PRIOR. INTERMENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CEMETERY IN GREENBUSH. LAMBERT WAS 80.

A FUNERAL SERVICE FOR JASON J. LANNING OF ROOSEVELT WILL BE HELD WEDNESDAY, JULY 6 (11 AM) AT THE WARROAD COMMUNITY CHURCH. VISITATION WILL BE TUESDAY (5-7 PM) AT HELGESON FUNERAL HOME IN WARROAD WITH A 7 PM PRAYER SERVICE. INTERMENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT AMERICAN CEMETERY IN WARROAD. JASON WAS 51.
