A ROSEAU COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COVID STAKEHOLDERS MEETING MONDAY TOLD PARTICIPANTS THAT VACCINE PLANS FOR ROSEAU COUNTY HAVE BEEN SENT TO THE STATE OF MINNESOTA;
THAT PFIZER VACCINES SHOULD BE COMING TO THE COUNTY CHRISTMAS WEEK;
AND THAT ABOUT 1950 DOSES WILL BE DELIVERED TO THE NORTHWEST REGION.
EMERGENCY MANAGER SUE GRAFSTROM SAYS “THIS COULD BE THE FIRST EQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION OF VACCINES ACROSS MINNESOTA”, ESPECIALLY FROM A GEOGRAPHIC PERSPECTIVE.

 

THE ROSEAU CITY COUNCIL, THIS WEEK, APPROVED FORGIVENESS OF THREE MONTHS OF LIQUOR LICENSE FEES.

ROSEAU COUNTY HAS GOTTEN LESS SNOW THAN NORMAL THIS WINTER, AND MYLES HOGENSON (WITH THE ROSEAU COUNTY TRAILBLAZERS) SAYS IT WILL TAKE SOME SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALLS FOR SNOWMOBILE TRAIL GROOMING.

69 YEAR OLD MICHAEL BRANDT OF DEERWOOD WAS KILLED TUESDAY MORNING WHEN HIS VEHICLE STRUCK A PETERBILT LUMBER TRUCK NEAR HILL CITY.
THE DRIVER OF THE PETERBILT, 59 YEAR OLD GREGORY ANWILER OF GRAND RAPIDS, WAS NOT HURT.
