THE ROSEAU CITY COUNCIL, LAST WEEK, APPROVED KELLIE ROTH OF POLARIS AS A NEW MEMBER ON THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY. ROTH SUCCEEDS CHERI LOSSE IN THAT ROLE, REPRESENTING THE ROSEAU CIVIC AND COMMERCE ASSOCIATION.

 

THE ROSEAU SCHOOL BOARD HAS A SPECIAL WORK SESSION TOMORROW EVENING, TO TALK ABOUT THE NEXT STEPS IN A PROPOSED SCHOOL FACILITIES IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.

 

THE WARROAD SUMMER THEATRE MUSICAL “TARZAN”, WITH MUSIC BY PHIL COLLINS, OPENS WEDNESDAY EVENING AT THE WARROAD HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE.

A FUNERAL SERVICE FOR HARVEY HANSON OF STRATHCONA WILL BE HELD TOMORROW (10:30 AM) AT GRACE EVANGELICAL CHURCH OF STRATHCONA. VISTATION IS ONE HOUR PRIOR. BURIAL WILL BE IN GREENWOOD CEMETERY IN STRATHCONA. HARVEY HANSON WAS 90.

 

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR PAULEEN M. JORGENSON OF ROSEAU WILL BE HELD FRIDAY (11 AM) AT CONCORDIA LUTHERAN CHURCH IN ROSEAU. VISTAITON WILL BE ONE HOUR PRIOR. PAULEEN JORGENSON WAS 67.

 

AN OUTDOOR GRILLED TURKEY SUPPER WILL BE SERVED JULY 17TH BY THE FIRST UNITED LUTHERAN CHURCH IN ROSEAU.

THE BISMARCK TRIBUNE REPORTS THAT ABOUT 58,200 HUNTERS KILLED 327,000 ROOSTERS IN 2018. THAT WAS UP JUST 6% FROM THE DISMAL 2017 HUNT.
