MINNESOTA POWER HAS ENERGIZED IT’S GREAT NORTHERN TRANSMISSION LINE, WHICH CROSSES THE MANITOBA BORDER NORTHWEST OF ROSEAU;
AND CARRIES MANITOBA HYDRO POWER.
THE 224 MILE LINE WAS BUILT OVER THREE YEARS, AND WILL HELP MINNESOTA POWER SUPPLY CUSTOMERS WITH FIFTY PERCENT RENEWABLE ENERGY BY NEXT YEAR.

 

A PUBLIC VISITATION FOLLOWING MINNESOTA STATE GUIDELINES, CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF MARISA RASMUSSEN, IS MONDAY (July 6th/ 5-7 PM) AT HELGESON FUNERAL HOME IN ROSEAU.

A FUNERAL SERVICE FOR MARK HEGLE OF WALKER, MINNESOTA (AND FORMERLY OF ROSEAU) IS TOMORROW MORNING AT ELEVEN AT THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH IN ROSEAU. BURIAL IS AT RIVERSIDE CEMETERY AT WARROAD.

THAT’S A FIVE AND A HALF MILLION DOLLAR PORTION OF A FORTY MILLION DOLLAR, TWO YEAR PROJECT.
PROJECT MANAGERS KRAUS-ANDERSON SAID THERE WERE NO BIDS FOR CONCRETE, MASONRY AND CARPENTRY WORK – BUT THEY’LL RE-BID JULY 9TH.
