A Memorial Service for Jacob Osborn of Baudette will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Wabanica Lutheran Church in Baudette at 10:00am with a visitation an hour prior.

Jacob Marshall Osborn passed away unexpectedly on Saturday August 6th, 2022 at the family home.

Jacob was born on July 12th, 2006 to Crystal Cauble and Howard Osborn in Roseau, Minnesota. He was a fun loving child who enjoyed everything to do with motorcycles, classic cars and playing football. In 2016, Jacob became a big brother for the first time and in 2017 for the second time. He loved caring for his little sister and brother, showing his mom what a good brother he really was.

Jacob got his first job at McDonald’s and soon went from part shifts to full shifts. There were many times when Jacob would spend a good portion of his paycheck on his siblings. He worked hard and always had a smile on his face for the customers.

In between work, school and helping with his siblings, Jacob enjoyed helping Grandma Pam on the weekends and also helped with the neighbors. Although he was quiet in social situations, he had plenty to say when chatting one-on-one with family and close friends.

Jacob’s contagious smile and generous heart are just a few of the things about him that will be missed by his family and friends.

Jacob is survived by his parents Crystal (Brent) Cauble, Howard (Sonya) Osborn, brother Dylan, sister Maleena, grandparents Pam Skaggs, Rudy (Jane) Cauble, Gary (Mary) Peterson, great-grandmother Daisy Westover, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceeded in death by his grandparents Katie Hedtke, Harlan Osborn, great-grandpa Jack Westover and his great-great grandparents Leon (Mae) Wilson.
