A Mass of Christian Burial for Anna B. Jochim of Baudette, MN will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 2:00PM at Sacred heart Catholic Church in Baudette, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at Elm Park Cemetery in Baudette, MN.

Anna passed away July 4, 2021 at the age of 98.

Anna Beatrice Jochim was born May 10, 1923 to Fred Klein and Eva (Glatt) in Linton, ND. She was raised in South Dakota and was one of 11 children. She married Anthony “Tony” Jochim on June 28, 1947 in Timber Lake, SD. The couple moved to Baudette, MN in 1950 and started farming and growing their family. Anna was a homemaker and typical farm wife, very hard working and helping with all the chores while raising her children. Every week she would take one day to make 12 loaves of bread and other baked goods to feed her family.

Anna enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, puzzling, making Rhubarb wine and playing cards with family and friends. Her true passions were dancing and her love for bowling; she was bowling still into her 90’s. Anna was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baudette, MN.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tony; her siblings and parents.

Anna is survived by her five children, Kathy (Paul) Besser, Jim (Sue) Jochim, Betty Kramer, Cindy (John) King, Judy (Dave) Furbish; grandchildren, Paul Besser Jr., Rhonda Besser, Jennifer Jochim, Jula (Keith) Coggins, Nolan (Dr. Molly) Kramer, Hayden (Dr. Kara) Kramer, Kelsea Furbish, Tony (Jenny) Brouse, Jessica Kemp-Eardley; great-grandchildren, Jonah McDougall, Zack Brouse, Carson Brouse, Alec Eardley, Collin Eardley, Jacob Kempf, Natalie Eardley.
